Retired Detective Inspector Huw Miller is haunted by the one case he failed to solve: the Ripton Stalker, a prolific serial killer who psychologically tortured his victims over months before viciously murdering them. As Huw attempts to settle into retirement, the case is never far from his mind. When a mysterious new neighbor, Patrick Harbottle, moves in across the street and utters the chilling phrase “Catch you later” the exact sign-off the stalker used to taunt Huw during the investigation Huw becomes convinced he has finally found the killer who got away. What follows is a high-stakes game of psychological chess between the two neighbors as Huw’s world begins to crumble around him. Unable to bear the guilt of the stalker potentially taking another victim under his nose, Huw risks everything to unearth the truth, but his obsession may be pushing him ever closer to the brink.
