Three decades ago, the sudden emergence of mysterious alien entities known as “Invasion Species” pushed humanity to the brink of destruction. In response, the United Nations formed EXCEEDS, an organization dedicated to investigating and neutralizing these invasive creatures and the calamities they cause. Set in the island nation of Mizuho, the story follows Shiina Kuze, a skilled hunter trained to exterminate these alien threats. Living with her younger sister Setsuna, Shiina longs for a peaceful life, but an unforeseen event pulls her into an expansive and dangerous conflict that could change everything. As EXCEEDS mobilizes its forces and interviews the Diaboli Slayers, Shiina must confront the realities of her world and grapple with her role in the fight against the forces threatening humanity’s survival.
