In the spring of 1959, thirteen people become stranded on a small island near Mallorca after a violent storm cuts them off from the mainland. When an English tourist named Elisa Mander is found dead at an isolated hotel, what initially appears to be suicide soon looks like murder.
Benjamin Basil, a retired actor once famous for playing Sherlock Holmes, is forced to use the detective skills he performed on-screen to investigate the killing. Joined by aspiring crime novelist Francisco Foxá, Basil examines the hotel’s guests and staff as suspicion spreads and everyone becomes a potential suspect.
