Yuru, a young hunter, lives a quiet life in a small village deep in the mountains, hunting wild game and leading a humble existence with Asa, his younger twin sister. Their peaceful lives are torn apart when armed outsiders attack the village, leaving many residents dead and forcing the siblings into a desperate escape. Yuru and Asa were raised separately in an isolated village while Yuru works as a hunter, Asa has been confined and assigned a special role within the community that no one fully explains. As they flee, they uncover dark secrets lurking within their village and the mysterious forces that have kept them apart. Their journey leads them into a world of supernatural creatures, ancient traditions, and a shadow realm filled with daemons.
