Dr. Martin Best, a brilliant but blunt Boston surgeon with a severe fear of blood, continues trying to build a life in the small coastal town of Port Wenn, Maine. His unusual bedside manner repeatedly clashes with the town’s eccentric residents, while his relationship with schoolteacher Louisa Gavin becomes more complicated. Season 2 introduces Parker, a new arrival whose connection with Louisa creates fresh tension for Martin. The series is an American adaptation of the British dramedy Doc Martin.
