Walter White is a 50-year-old high school chemistry teacher in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He lives with his pregnant wife Skyler and teenage son Walt Jr., who has cerebral palsy. Walter is diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. Fearing his family will be left in debt, he turns to a life of crime. He partners with Jesse Pinkman, a former student and small-time meth dealer. Together, they cook and sell high-purity methamphetamine. Walter adopts the alias “Heisenberg” and navigates the dangerous drug trade while hiding his double life from his family and brother-in-law Hank, a DEA agent.
