The couples from the original films reunite in Italy for the destination wedding of Marcus and Angela’s daughter, Jasmine, to Wesley, the son of Roselyn. After being apart for quite some time, they learn quickly that as much as things change, they stay the same. Old wounds resurface, new drama emerges, and the group finds themselves asking the age-old question: “Why did we get married again?” As the wedding approaches, the parents realize their children have grown up to be so much like them, forcing everyone to reflect on the examples they’ve set and the complicated legacies of love, marriage, and friendship they’ve passed down to the next generation.
