Centuries after a catastrophic future has all but destroyed humanity, the last survivors discover a way to send consciousness back through time into people living in the 21st century. These “Travelers” take over the lives of seemingly ordinary people at the moment of their deaths, then work in secret teams to carry out missions intended to prevent humanity’s extinction. Led by Traveler 3468, who inhabits FBI agent Grant MacLaren, the team must balance covert operations, strict protocols, and the emotional fallout of living inside other people’s lives.netflix+2
