Elymas Edvaughn is born into a family of elite swordsmen, but his future collapses when he awakens the supposedly useless Heavy Knight class. Disowned and cast out, Elymas soon discovers that his world resembles a video game from his previous life.

Remembering that Heavy Knights eventually become one of the strongest classes in the game, Elymas uses his knowledge of hidden mechanics, quests, skills, and monster weaknesses to exploit the system.
