Inspired by actual events, Esme Williams thinks she’s found a fresh start in an affordable apartment in a quiet Cleveland neighborhood. But when disturbing clues point to a possible murder, she suspects her erratic landlord is framing her for the crime. With police unwilling to help, Esme races to uncover the truth before she becomes the next victim. As evidence mounts including blood-soaked rags in a vacant unit Esme becomes obsessed with piecing together what really happened, even if it means putting her own life in danger.
