A road-view camera crew travels to reshoot footage at Salmokji, a remote reservoir in rural South Chungcheong Province. Their earlier shoot produced strange images, including a creepy human-shaped figure sticking out of the water. When Road View Media finds the anomaly in their mapping data, they send a new team to capture clean images. Producer Su-in leads the crew to the reservoir with a tight deadline. As filming starts, a senior colleague who vanished after visiting the site suddenly returns as if nothing happened. The crew soon faces disturbing events: figures appear in footage that were never there during filming, voices leak into recordings from nowhere, and equipment fails. As they investigate, they uncover pieces of a long-buried incident tied to the water. The team learns that some places were never meant to be left and that the reservoir holds a presence determined to keep them.
