High school students Theresa and Jimmy are deeply in love until Jimmy breaks up with Theresa after they sleep together. Theresa’s overbearing mother, Mary, becomes obsessed with restoring her daughter’s “virtue” and reuniting the couple. When bribes and persuasion fail, Mary turns to a fortune teller named Anna, who suggests a shocking solution: if Jimmy dies, Theresa will be considered a virgin again. Driven by desperation and twisted logic, Mary spirals into a dark path of revenge, hiring a hitman to kill Jimmy in a misguided effort to reclaim her daughter’s innocence.
