In 1986, a fatal mining explosion shuts down the coal mines in Little Lorraine, a tiny Nova Scotian fishing village, leaving families without work or hope. Out‑of‑work miner Jimmy accepts a lifeline from his charismatic uncle, Huey, who offers him a job on his lobster boat. What begins as honest labor soon reveals a darker truth: the boat is part of an international cocaine smuggling ring that hides drugs in coffins shipped through a network of funeral homes. As the operation grows, Jimmy and his friends are pulled deeper into organized crime, pursued by law enforcement and trapped in a web of greed, betrayal, and survival that threatens to destroy their town and their souls.
