In South Korea, supernatural beings appear to announce when people will be condemned to hell, then monstrous creatures carry out the sentence in public. As fear spreads, the New Truth religious movement claims the events are proof of divine justice, while its violent offshoot, the Arrowhead, gains influence. Across both seasons, people caught between these factions—including lawyer Min Hyejin and the condemned who unexpectedly return—struggle to understand what the decrees and resurrections mean. Hellbound is a Korean supernatural horror-thriller based on the webtoon by Yeon Sang-ho and Choi Gyu-seok.netflix+1
