Goody and her husband Jayson desperately want to have their baby at home in a remote forest cabin during deep winter. Along with Jayson’s doula sister Candace and their experienced midwife Sarah, they prepare for a natural home birth. Lulled into a false sense of comfort during the long labor process, the group begins to realize something may be horribly wrong. As labor complications ensue, a raging blizzard traps them inside the isolated cabin, cutting off any chance of reaching a hospital. The expecting parents and their midwife soon discover that this pregnancy is not normal and the baby inside Goody might not be human at all. A sinister presence lurks in the shadows as increasingly disturbing events unfold.
