Fleeing mistakes and a broken life in Atlanta, Mauro crashes on his younger sister Isa’s couch in Boston. An out-of-work session player who has set up his drum kit on the streets to make money, he sees drumming as an act of desperation these days. He takes to bucket drumming on the streets as a way out, but can’t stop screwing things up and drawing everyone else into his own feral shortcomings. As his music begins to soar and attract attention, his reckless choices threaten both his newfound stability and his closest relationships, forcing him to confront whether he can change or if he’s destined to keep repeating the same destructive patterns.
