Iroha Sakayori is a hardworking 17-year-old high school student in Tokyo who balances school, part-time jobs, and life in a virtual world called Tsukuyomi. One day, she finds a glowing telephone pole and discovers a baby inside. The baby quickly grows into a girl her own age who calls herself Kaguya. Kaguya is a runaway princess from the Moon with a carefree, self-indulgent personality. At Kaguya’s request, Iroha becomes her producer and songwriter, and together they start streaming music and performances in Tsukuyomi. As their bond deepens, mysterious forces arrive to take Kaguya back to the Moon, forcing Iroha to fight for her friend and their dreams.
