Promising young boxer Kim Gun‑woo dreams of lifting his single mother out of poverty, but her desperate loan from Smile Capital drags them into the grip of Kim Myeong‑gil, a ruthless loan shark who preys on the vulnerable. To save her, Gun‑woo reluctantly teams with Choi Tae‑ho, a principled, older moneylender with a hidden past, and forms an unlikely brotherhood with Hong Woo‑jin, a hot‑headed former marine and fellow boxer. Across two seasons, the trio plunges into the brutal underworld of debt collection, using fists, strategy, and street smarts to dismantle Smile Capital’s empire. As alliances shift and old scores resurface, Gun‑woo and Woo‑jin must decide how far they’re willing to go to protect family, friends, and their own code of honor in a world where money buys power and mercy is rare.
