Andor follows the transformative journey of Cassian Andor, a cynical thief and mercenary from the planet Ferrix, as he evolves into a committed Rebel hero. Set five years before the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, the series explores the birth of the Rebel Alliance through the eyes of ordinary people pushed to extraordinary lengths. Season 1 chronicles Cassian’s reluctant involvement in the early rebellion, from his search for his lost sister to his imprisonment on the brutal Narkina 5 facility and eventual escape. Season 2, set one year later, depicts the consolidation of rebel cells into a unified Alliance as Cassian becomes a key intelligence operative for Luthen Rael’s network, culminating in the theft of the Death Star plans and the events leading directly into Rogue One.
