Riley, a young woman tormented by recurring night terrors and a past of unresolved tragedy, lives by a strict sleep protocol to protect those around her. Every ten years on her birthday, she falls into a terrifying parasomnia episode during which a dreamwalking demon called the Seer manifests in reality and compels someone close to Riley to commit a gruesome murder-suicide, complete with eye-gouging and cannibalism. When her best friend David disappears under mysterious circumstances, Riley begins to suspect that the demonic figure lurking in her sleep has finally crossed over into the waking world. As more people vanish and the body count rises, Riley must confront the creature from her nightmares and uncover painful memories from her past before it claims another victim.
