Prairie Johnson, a young woman who disappeared seven years earlier, returns home with mysterious scars on her back and her sight miraculously restored—despite having been blind before her disappearance. Calling herself “the OA” (Original Angel), she refuses to explain where she has been and instead recruits five local strangers to hear her extraordinary story and help her save others. Season 2 expands the mystery into alternate realities, dreams, and a parallel version of Prairie’s life, while private investigator Karim Washington searches for a missing teenager connected to a strange virtual game and a haunted house.netflix+3
