Devadas “Das” is a rebel outlaw driven by a personal moral code, delivering rough justice to those failed by the legal system. His life of crime begins after he kills his maternal uncles for murdering his mother over a family wealth dispute, an act of revenge that causes his father, Motor Mani, to disown him. Das later falls in love with Parvathy, a bar singer, but she is killed during a police operation. Consumed by grief and rage, he meets Chandra, an exploited woman who bears a striking resemblance to Parvathy. Das helps Chandra escape her abusive world, and she eventually joins his gang. Together, they wage a bloody war against corrupt police officers and powerful enemies, forcing Das to confront his past, his thirst for vengeance, and the possibility of redemption.
