Hollywood friends Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson play fictionalized versions of themselves. When Matthew’s mother, Ma Mac, reveals a long-buried family secret, the two actors begin to wonder whether they could actually be brothers. Their attempt to investigate the rumor brings them and their families to a Texas ranch, where forced togetherness tests their friendship and creates plenty of comic chaos.
