Balthazar “Balthy” Malone, a wealthy New York teenager, posts tearful gun‑control videos online mainly to impress an activist classmate. When an anonymous troll messages him claiming he’s planning a school shooting, Balthy impulsively travels to Texas to stop the attack. There he meets Solomon, a troubled, debt‑ridden young man with a small arsenal and an abusive father. What begins as a self‑appointed rescue mission becomes a darkly comic, increasingly dangerous collision of two lonely, internet‑warped lives, forcing both to confront their delusions, desperation, and the real consequences of violence.
