Responding to an offshore rescue, Ryder and the PAW Patrol pups are caught in a violent sea storm and crash-land on an uncharted tropical island populated entirely by living dinosaurs. There they meet Rex, a paraplegic Bernese Mountain Dog who uses a custom wheeled harness and has become an expert in all things dino-related, communicating with the resident dinosaurs including his T-Rex friend Timmy. When the PAW Patrol’s archrival, Mayor Humdinger, arrives with a dynamite expert and a poacher to recklessly mine the island for rare resources, his explosions destabilize a dormant volcano. With lava consuming the island, Ryder, Rex and the pups must deploy prehistoric vehicles and work with the dinosaurs to evacuate everyone before disaster strikes in their biggest, dino-sized rescue mission yet.
