Years later, Grace is trapped in a suffocating marriage to her manipulative, abusive husband, John Paul. When he dies suddenly, the sisters find themselves at the center of a life insurance investigation led by two determined adjusters who suspect foul play. As the inquiry digs deeper, each sister’s motive and possible role in John Paul’s death is slowly revealed, exposing how far they would go to free Grace from his control and keep their family intact.
