When a nightmarish creature emerges from the depths of an abandoned Appalachian coal mine, a young mother must hunt down the monster to protect her home and save her family. Set in rural West Virginia, the story follows a family living in the shadow of the region’s coal mining history. As the creature begins terrorizing the community, the mother takes matters into her own hands, confronting both the supernatural threat and the environmental devastation left behind by decades of corporate greed and mining operations.
