Often called a “show about nothing,” Seinfeld follows stand-up comedian Jerry Seinfeld and his three neurotic friends—best friend George Costanza, ex-girlfriend Elaine Benes, and eccentric neighbor Cosmo Kramer—as they obsess over the petty details of everyday life in Manhattan. Across nine seasons, the series blends observational humor, running gags, and tightly plotted storylines to create one of the most influential sitcoms in television history. The complete series contains nine seasons and 180 episodes. cite
